I'm new to Flex, so pardon my ignorance. I've been to a 5-6 sites now, and the sites talking about how awesome Flex is, are all done in HTML. No-one seems to be making websites in Flex. The controls are nice, but every example looks like the Macromedia Developer Exchange. The applications made with Flex have a cookie cutter sameness. Am I making sense?

For example, the Real Estate application and the ToDo list on this site, look almost identical. Save a few style changes, it looks like the default Flex theme on my local machine. Is that simply because it isn't worth it to make it look different for a teaching exercise?

first i created an new symbol and i dragged it to main stage giving it mCircle instance name.
In the next layer i had written the following code
mCircle.duplicateMovieClip("mNewCircle",this.getNextHighestDepth());
when i run the file i am unable to see another duplicatemovieclip only original movie clip instance is there
can u help me no one is there to clear my doubt,
i will waiting for your reply
